In Memoriam

MPELRA President Krista Amos

April 10, 1965 - October 31, 2018

MPELRA President Krista Amos, HR Director for the City of Mankato and Blue Earth County passed away Wednesday October 31, 2018 at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN at age 53.

Krista was very active in League events and was someone who always responded positively when LMC staff reached out to ask her to serve on a committee or share some new project from Mankato.  She was active on several professional associations, most recently, she was serving as president of MPELRA (MN Public Employer Labor Relations Association).  She was a well-respected colleague and many of us here at the League who interacted with Krista over the years found her to be cheerful and eager to help.  Her laugh was infectious and her great sense of humor lifted up people around her.

Mankato (and the entire city and county communities) suffered a great loss; our hearts are with them.

Krista will be great missed!
