2013 Foundation Scholarship Winners


NPELRA Foundation (Anthony C. Russo Scholarship Awards)
 

The NPELRA Foundation is a nonprofit subsidiary of the National Public Employer Labor Relations Association (NPELRA). The Foundation provides scholarships to deserving graduate students studying labor and employee relations or a closely related field. The Foundation seeks to provide worthy graduate students interested in a career in public sector labor and employee relations with financial assistance.


 

 
2013 Anthony C. Russo Scholarship Awards Winners, who received a $3,000 Russo Scholarship:
 

Julie Guerra, Nueces County Human Resources Director, is seeking a PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Grand Canyon University. She holds a Bachelors degree in Business administration, a Masters in Technology , and two Associate degrees in Arts and Business Administration. Julie is actively involved in the American Diabetes Association, the American Heart Association, United way, and the American Cancer Society.

Kelly Livingston, is a current NPELRA member actively involved in the IPELRA Membership Committee. she is currently seeking a Masters of Human Resource Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, while working as a Human Resources Coordinator for the Village of Arlington Heights. She holds a Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Western Illinois University.

Chelsea Radig currently holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Nova Southeastern University and is seeking a Master of Science in Industrial Organizational Psychology. She is employed with the City of Miami Beach and plans to pursue advancement in the field of Human Resources in the public sector.
